Tacoma's Downtown Business Improvement Area (BIA) provides safety, security, maintenance and streetscape improvements for downtown businesses, residents, workers, students and visitors. This blog is regularly updated with thoughts and information on events and activities that impact downtown life and updates on downtown revitalization.

Nice. Looking forward to seeing the LINK stop built soon.
It will be great to have but too bad we'll have to go down to 12 min frequencies.
The additional stop will provide better access to the core business area of downtown, likely increasing ridership despite the added two minutes between trains.
The downtown business community has been advocating for a stop in this area since 2000! Before Tacoma Link even opened. I think the longevity of this issue illustrates it's importance and necessity in downtown.
