This gourmet kitchen and food store is the latest addition to the St. Helens neighborhood in downtown Tacoma. You will be impressed with Füdie's intriguing selection of gourmet food products, top-of-the-line kitchen tools, wine and hard to find beers. And, if you have yet to try STINK, there is no better time than now! While grabbing lunch or dinner, you can skip over to Füdie or vice versa —they blew a hole through the wall. The same report did not recognize any type of Theater District or Stadium District - two areas I've always thought of as districts.

I'm glad to hear people are identifying with the brand. There may need to be some clarity down the road as the Hub identifies itself as being in the Stadium District while your facebook page mentions the Goddess of Commerce as being in the Triangle District(?). Coordinating with the Theater District Association and the Stadium Business District could be helpful here.David Schroedelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14533965870997862752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28170135.post-17401102395059924982011-11-16T16:53:11.511-08:002011-11-16T16:53:11.511-08:00David, I believe in the downtown planning docs the...David, I believe in the downtown planning docs the city recognizes the St. Helens District as 7th to 2nd, Stadium Way to Tacoma Ave. I know Puget Sound Pizza has a sign in their restaurant and The Mix and the Walker Building(where Maxwell's is located) has it as their neighborhood on their websites and their is a Facebook page for the district.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28170135.post-53324867015480431242011-11-11T11:42:57.898-08:002011-11-11T11:42:57.898-08:00The Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau do...The Tacoma Regional Convention + Visitor Bureau does have a website dedicated to visitors: www.traveltacoma.com

There is what appears to be a decent mobile version of the site, but I'd be curious to hear how well it works for visitors.

I'm unclear on where you see as the St Helens District. My understanding is that St Helens runs from S. 9th to Division. The improvements that occurred from S. 9th to the intersection with S. 7th were labeled as being in the Theater District. Maxwell's is great, but I'm not sure it constitutes its own district.David Schroedelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14533965870997862752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28170135.post-64228787189897138142011-11-10T18:27:27.965-08:002011-11-10T18:27:27.965-08:00What consideration is being taken for newer techno...What consideration is being taken for newer technology? Most people have cell phones and most sold now are smart phones. Are we going to be cutting edge or just have boring signs? Should some kind of mobile technology be used? QR Codes?

Also but about the St Helens District between the Theater District and Stadium? That area seems to have more going on than Stadium these days.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
